Jay Ho

Based in Hamburg and Singapore, JAY JO (b. 1997) graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of East London and a Diploma in Fine Art from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore. He is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg.

His solo exhibition Oumuamua’s Tale was presented at Chan + Hori Contemporary, Singapore (2022). Ho was also invited to participate in Conversations on Lack and Excess at Gajah Gallery, Singapore and Yogyakarta (2018).

He has received numerous accolades, including the Linklaters Purchase Prize (London), a nomination for the New Blood Art Young Emerging Artist Award (London), and grants from the University of East London, the Business Times Budding Artist Fund, and the National Arts Council Singapore.
