Weixin Quek Chong (b. 1988) is a Singaporean visual artist known to work with image, objects, audiovisual and at times performative elements to play with perception and tantalise the senses. Chong's recent projects are inspired by processes of transformation in the biodiverse world as well as cyborgian adaptation- incorporating sensorial-based explorations that frequently involve tactility, sound, and immersive environments. Recent exhibitions include: The Texture of Promises, Kutxa Kultur Artegunea, Spain (2022), ontogenesis dreams: a sideways stretching of the sensory limbs (collaborative work), Esplanade Performing Arts Residency, Singapore (2022), deepdreams_sublimed, Solo show, A.I. Gallery, London (2021). Chong has also attended several residencies including, National Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art, Seoul and NTU Centre of Contemporary Art, Singapore Urban Explorations by MediaLab, Atelier Valero, Paris.

Weixin received her MA from the Royal College of Art (London) in 2014 and her BA(Hons) from LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore), and works between Madrid, Singapore and London.
 
Chong's works are in both private and public collections including DLA Piper International and Swiss RE, Singapore Art Collection.
